Add custom URL parameters to your Meta ads for precise click tracking and attribution.
Adding the ad_id Parameter
Add a custom URL parameter to each ad so Tapper can correctly attribute ad interactions.

Select Ads
Select the ads you want to configure within your Meta Ads account.

Open Bulk Edit
Click the Bulk Edit button from the toolbar.

Find Tracking Settings
Scroll to the Tracking section of the bulk ads setup.

Add the Parameter
Click Build a URL parameter, choose Add parameter, set the name to ad_id, and select {{ad.id}} as the value. Click Apply.
Finalize
- Review: Confirm that the
ad_idparameter is set to{{ad.id}} - Publish: Publish the changes to apply your modifications
Tapper can now reference captured ad clicks to the correct ads in your Meta campaigns.
