Audience exclusion

Attach Tapper's invalid traffic audience as an exclusion to your Meta ad sets.

Tapper Block protects Meta ads one ad set at a time. When you switch an ad set on, Tapper adds its invalid traffic audience to that ad set as an excluded audience, so Meta stops showing those ads to the people in it. Connect your Meta ad account first: see Connect Meta Ads.

Attach the exclusion audience

1
Open your Meta ad sets

In the Tapper app, open Setup > Ad accounts, then Meta Ads under Platforms. On the Accounts tab, click Manage ad sets on the account. The Ad sets tab opens, filtered to that account.

2
Switch on protection

Find the ad set and switch on its Protection switch. To protect every ad set that matches the current search and ad account filter, click Protect all. When an ad set on the page is already on, the same button reads Disable protection and switches off every ad set that matches the filter.

3
Verify in Meta Ads Manager

In Meta Ads Manager, open Ad Sets, click Edit on the ad set and check under Audience controls that Tapper - Invalid Traffic Audience is listed as an exclusion. On some older accounts the same audience is named Tapper - Invalid traffic or Tapper - Invalid Traffic List.

Switching an ad set off removes the exclusion. Each switch edits the ad set's audience in Meta.

Keep the list up to date

Click Refresh on the Ad sets tab to read your campaigns and ad sets from Meta again, then switch on any new ad sets you want protected. Export downloads the ad sets that match the current search and filter as a CSV file, with their Protection state.

Set how long visitors stay excluded

The Invalid traffic audience tab lists the audience in each connected ad account. Under Keep each visitor for, set how many days a visitor Tapper blocks stays in the audience, from 1 to 540. If an account shows Create audience, click it to create the audience in that ad account.
