The Tapper app at a glance

What each Tapper product does and where to find it in app.tapper.ai: the sidebar, the account menu and protected entities.

The left sidebar of the Tapper app is a list of sections. Click a section to open or close it, then click one of its pages. Which sections you see depends on the products your workspace has and on your plan: a section that does not apply to you is not shown.

The products

Vantage, Lift and Block each have their own section in the sidebar.

ProductWhat it gives you
Higher ROAS: tell your ad platforms what each customer is worth.
Less waste: daily checks on your ad accounts, with fixes you apply in one click.
Lower CPA: stop paying for invalid traffic on your ad platforms.
Every real sale counted on your ad platforms, sent from your server.

Tapper has four core products: Vantage, Lift, Block and Relay. Three more sit inside them under their own names: Screen inside Block, and Reach and Truth inside Relay. Relay, Reach, Screen and Truth are set up with Tapper's team. Each product has a Get started page: Vantage, Lift, Block and Relay.

A workspace has Vantage + Lift + Block, or Lift only. Your products, in Settings > General, shows the products your workspace has. To change them, contact your Tapper team.

Plans

Tapper's plans are Lift, Block, Vantage and Enterprise. Each one builds on the one before it.

The sidebar

SectionPages inside it
AnalyticsDashboard and Reports. The Dashboard is one page with tabs: Overview, one tab for each product the workspace has (Vantage among them), Invalid traffic, Conversions, Geography, Mobile, Google Analytics (only when a Google Analytics property is connected) and Performance Max. The date range and filters you set stay when you change tab. Reports holds your monthly reports.
VantageGoals and Campaigns. Its results are on the Vantage tab of the Dashboard. Shown when the workspace has Vantage.
LiftRecommendations, Trials, Products (only where a Google Ads account is an online store) and Rules. Lift's results are on the Lift tab of the Dashboard.
BlockTraffic (tabs Clicks and Sources), Exclusions, Experiments and Refunds. A workspace that monitors without blocking sees Flagged traffic in place of Exclusions.
Links & campaignsLinks (tabs Overview, Links, UTM builder and Click stream) and Link settings (tabs Brand domain, Mobile apps and Scripts). Shown on some plans only.
AlertsFeed, Rules and Delivery (tabs Contacts, Channels and Routing).
SetupAd accounts, Business details, Website, Mobile app, Rule sets, Data sources and Excluded IPs, then Add protected entity. Every row is there from the start: Website opens on adding your domains and Mobile app on adding your first app. This is where you connect ad accounts and install the scripts. Shown once onboarding is finished.

A page with tabs shows them under its title. Each tab has its own address, so a link or a bookmark opens on the right tab.

On a Lift only workspace, the Block section, the Click stream tab and the Website and Mobile app rows of Setup are not shown, and the Dashboard is one Lift overview with no other tabs.

To look around before your own data arrives, turn on Show demo data in Settings > General. Every page then shows example data instead of yours, and nothing you change is saved while it is on. Click Turn off demo data on the Demo data banner to see your own data again.

The account menu

Click the card at the bottom of the sidebar, with your workspace name and your email address, to open the account menu. From top to bottom it has:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Workspaces: every workspace you belong to, with a check on the one you are in. Click another to switch to it.
  • New workspace.
  • Settings, Team and Account settings.
  • Theme: Light, Dark or System.
  • Log out.

Settings opens on General. Its other sections are Members, Single sign-on, Profile, Alerts, Billing and API keys (on some plans only). Team opens Members, and Account settings opens Profile. See Settings.

Protected entities

A protected entity is one website, one group of mobile apps, or both, that Tapper watches. Its pages are the Setup section of the sidebar. It holds:

  • The monitoring and conversion scripts of its website.
  • The ad accounts you connect: Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Microsoft Ads, and on workspaces with Lift also Apple Ads, Snapchat Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • The data sources Vantage reads: a Shopify store, a Salesforce Sales Cloud org or the website tag.

You connect an ad account once, and every Tapper product on the workspace uses that connection. See Connect your ad accounts.

With one protected entity, its name sits under the workspace name and every page opens on it. With two or more, a switcher under the workspace name picks the entity every page is on. Its menu lists each entity by name, then Manage All and Add protected entity. On the Dashboard, Reports and Alerts it also offers All protected entities. A page that works on one entity at a time, such as Vantage, Lift or Exclusions, opens on the entity you picked last, or on the first one.
