Get started with Reach

Better audiences from your own customers. Tapper Reach builds audiences from your own orders and keeps them up to date in your ad platforms every day once it is on for an ad account. It is part of Tapper Relay, and it is set up with Tapper's team.

Relay sends your events, purchases and leads, to your ad platforms. Reach sends your audiences to the same platforms, from the same sources, with the same hashing, consent rules and fraudulent traffic left out. Together they put your own customer data to work on every platform.

How Reach works

Reach starts from your own orders: the orders and refunds from your store, an order feed or your email tool. Visitors Tapper Block marks as fraudulent traffic are taken out first, so only real customers reach an audience.

Each audience is a plain rule over that data, with value measured the way Vantage measures it: what a customer paid, without tax and shipping, net of refunds. The ready-made audiences are Future big spenders, Best customers, Recent buyers, Lapsed customers and Leave out. Future big spenders holds the recent buyers worth the most, so a lookalike of it looks like your most valuable customers, not like every one-time buyer.

Reach with Vantage

With Tapper Vantage on, Reach can also rank your customers by the value Vantage predicts for each one, so a lookalike of your best customers looks like the ones worth the most.

Where your audiences go

Once Reach is on for an ad account, each audience is created once in it under a Tapper name, such as Tapper - Best Customers, and refreshed every day: new people join, people who no longer fit leave, and nothing is uploaded by hand.

Email and phone leave only hashed, only for customers whose consent Tapper can confirm, and only for the platform's own matching. Customers in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are left out.
