Tapper Lift on LinkedIn Ads

Tapper Lift accepts LinkedIn Ads accounts on any workspace that has Lift. No Lift checks run on LinkedIn Ads accounts, so Lift writes no recommendations for them. Tapper changes nothing in LinkedIn.

Connect your accounts

LinkedIn Ads accounts connect once, from Setup, and the connection serves every Tapper product on the workspace. The LinkedIn Ads row on the connect page shows only on a workspace that has Lift. For the steps, see Connect LinkedIn Ads.

Connecting gives Tapper two read permissions, r_ads and r_ads_reporting. With them, Tapper cannot change anything in your LinkedIn Ads accounts.

What you see in Tapper Lift

• In the sidebar, open Lift, then Recommendations. Once a LinkedIn Ads account is connected, the page shows a LinkedIn Ads tab. A workspace with no LinkedIn Ads account has no such tab.
• A workspace whose only Lift accounts are on LinkedIn Ads still opens Recommendations.
• The LinkedIn Ads tab shows no cards. Instead of an empty list, the page says that your LinkedIn Ads account is connected and that no checks run on it. The ? after the row of tabs says that LinkedIn Ads checks are not live, so no cards show under the tab.
• LinkedIn Ads accounts are left out of the Lift report. Export report works when the workspace also has a Google Ads, Meta Ads or TikTok Ads account. Without one, Export report is disabled and a note beside it names the accounts it needs.
